Entry requirements
In order to be accepted onto TEFL in Prague's course, you must meet the following requirements:
● be at least 18 years old

● have the ability to do university-level coursework
● want to teach English!
All TEFL applicants should hold a university diploma. For those who have only a high school diploma or who have not fully completed their university studies, the following step may be taken: the TEFL applicant may be sent an additional grammar research question to complete, in order to show that they can do independent university-level work. Skills acquired through work experience may be taken into the account.
We accept individuals from all over the world (although largely from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand). Please check the foreign policies of your country in terms of special visa requirements. You can also learn more about TEFL in Prague's visa support.
TEFL applicants who are non-native English speakers must have at least a C-1 level of English, preferably accompanied by a CAE certificate, an IELTS score of 6.5, an LTE level 4, or a TOEFL score between 110-120. Non-native applicants may also be invited for an in-person or telephone interview, so that we may assess their fluency, pronunciation, and intonation.
Although it is beneficial, we do not require previous teaching experience.
