TEFL Course Instructors
“Back in 2004, I was waiting for the next academic year to do a P.G.C.E. in Biology, when I saw a much earlier incarnation of this very website. The school offered a job guarantee then too, and I decided I might as well get six month's useful teaching practice whilst I waited to enrol on my academic course. Well, my six month stay in Prague is now eight years and counting, and I'm delighted to now be head of the programme which brought me to this beautiful city all those years ago.
As well as teaching TEFL and observing all our trainees teach, I keep regular classes with Czech students, and indulge my passions for music, cookery, racquet and cue sports, and most recently [and rather pretentiously!] reading philosophy.
I greatly enjoy helping out our new teachers, and leading them to discover what a wonderful job and lifestyle this work can offer. I look forward to meeting you in class :)”

“I am a Teacher Trainer for Edua in Prague. However, to keep myself busy I am also an online tutor, proof-reader, translator, teacher and occasional writer of materials. I have been teaching for about twenty years mainly here in the Czech Republic and a couple of short spells in England and Poland.
I have been a teacher trainer for the last ten years. I have a Trinity TESOL Certificate and RSA DELTA.
In my spare time I watch Slavia Prague and sing at open mic nights, when they let me. “

“I have be
en in the business for 13 years now, teaching all different kinds of English courses (group/one-to-one, general English, Cambridge exams etc…). Also, I have been helping teachers to develop their skills since 2005.
I studied in America (1 year) and England (3 months) and I am in touch with native speakers on a daily basis. I have a Certificate of Proficiency in English and Cambridge DELTA.
When I don´t teach English or train teachers, I manage a music band, and sometimes play or DJ with them at gigs. I also ride a zippy road bike bloody fast.“
